He’s won multiple awards and has made history with his full-length feature films. Honors include two Independent Spirit Award Nominations for creativity and performance.

 

Moro continues to receive accolades for writing uplifting, empowering and insightful hip-hop lyrics for the Award winning film Anne B. Real.  ABR is the story of a young female rapper who finds her singing voice and inspiration by reading the Diaries of Anne Frank.

 

Luis is also the creative voice behind the history making film Cuba’s Love & Suicide. Cuba played at AMC Theatres for ten weeks, competing and out performing major films. It crossed all U.S. cultures and demographics by simply providing excellent multicultural entertainment. The films unique blend of English and Spanish dialogue continues to be applauded by audiences around the world.

 

Luis’s comedic voice will next be seen in the feature film project “What’s HisPanic?”   “What’s HisPanic?” is also being rolled out as a one man stand-up comedy show by Moro.
