What is Election 08 Cuba Film Series?
It's one night showcasing three diverse entertaining, inspiring and educaional movies shot on location in Havana, Cuba. Each unique film in the series provides audiences and insider view into the real Cuba with their own eyes. Audiences experience the lifestyles of people in Cuba, while being educated on the history of politics between the United States and Cuba that continue today.

Who's producing the screenings?
People like yourself. Groups and various organizations host special screenings with their local communities, churches, political organizations, clubs and theatres. Many people use the screenings as a fund entertaining and educational fundraiser for their cause.

Is the film series related to any political party?
No the film series is bipartisan. The filmmakers, screening host and everyone involved in the film series reserve the right to express their believes as they see fit. Due to the nature of the opposite positions by both the Republican candidate for president, Senator John McCain and the Democratic candidate for President, Senator Barack Obama; the film series does give audiences an authentic look inside Cuba and the U.S. politics that's currently in play.

How did the Free Cuba Film series start?
Inspired by the diverse positions on Cuba by the candidates running for President of the United States. The filmmakers united to give America an insider view, understanding and visual presentation of Cuba using three distinct excellent movies shot on location in current day Cuba.

What theatres can I go see the Cuba Film Series?
Our premiere screening is on Saturday, September 6th, in Beverly Hills, CA. We have theatres booked in Florida, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Several other states are booked and pending a screening date. Many more locations are in active conversations. They happen because of people like you, who take on hosting a screening for your community.
