How long have you been doing comedy?
I've been doing comedy since birth. I think we're all funny from birth. Some people will be offended by that statement, that's the joke. And if we're lucky we get the joke of life and never forget it. Taking ourselves to serious maybe the worst sin a person can commit.

Where did you start performing stand-up comedy?
I first hit the stand-up comedy stage at the Comedy Store Belly room. I was then fortunate enough to run Thursday Night Funnies at The Comedy Store Belly room for a year with the shows Host Bobby Shrophire. She was my first true comedy mentor.

Why do you do stand-up comedy and make films?
I simply love all arts. The emotional connection required to be successful at stand-up comedy is a natural high for me. The same is true for filmmaking. The experience of a filmmaking crew focused on creating the same story is exceptional.

How do you balance family, filmmaking and stand-up comedy?
My writing balances it all for me. I'm a single dad raising my 4 year old and 6 year old daughters. They inspire me 24/7. A great film crew/team balances filmmaking. I have an endless desire for creativity that causes transformations.
What advice would you give a starting comic?
I think once you realize that you may always be a starting comic, you can do no wrong. You might get booed off stage, but you can learn a lot from that. I've been skinned live with razor blades on stage and I've also had people tell me they pissed in thier pants.
Who is your favorite Comedian?
I truly love them all. I really appreciate what it takes to make it in all areas of comedy, the entertainment business; anything you want to have greatness at really.
